  Where to find my IP address for my WordPress URL address?

  WordPress.com uses a large group of servers with many different IP addresses. This means that there’s no single IP address that your blog is accessible from.

  If you’re trying to point a domain name at your blog, you’ll need to do so using WordPress.com’s DNS hosting, or create a CNAME toward your WordPress.com blog address.

  Note that you can only map a subdomain like blog.example.com using a CNAME–your root domain (example.com) can not use a CNAME record.
