Hi! If you interested in adding the shadow to only one. png file, it would be more efficient for you to add the shadow to the actual image file and re-upload it to your Medial Library.

You can use a photo editor such as PhotoShop to do this. If you don’t have access to software like this, you can try a free, online editor such as http://pixlr.com/

If this doesn’t suit your needs, please clarify for me and I can help further. Thanks!

Hi robyn, super big thanks for your feedback and your way is most likely the way I’ll go. however I just read on line, that it’s possible to put a shadow around a png, so long as it is ( png file ) transparent up to the edges. Ive got code to try it and I can go ahead and give that a try… but I cannot locate the quote mark ( reddish ) through chrome with the usual inspect element trick… can you help me locate it’s element name? super awesome help thanks.

I see you made a change to the quotes and made them part of your background. Looks awesome. I am guessing you don’t need to find the png element anymore as…well…as it’s not there anymore! :)

You seem to be learning a lot of CSS. I wanted to make sure you were checking out the community on our CSS forums. Lots of super folks giving/getting ideas and instruction:

As an aside, you do have to be careful. If you adjust too much of the original stylesheet, you will impact the manner in which your site can be viewed on mobile devices.
