Locating blog away from the home/landing page

    I set up a wordpress site to display a few of my photos, and prefer a static homepage. I would now like to write a few blog posts and add them to my site. However, I don’t want them to appear on my home/landing page – I’d like a separate blog page accessible via the main menu. How can I do this? Thanks, Tom.

    Hi there,

    Since you have a static homepage, your blog posts appear here:
    https://tombroadhurstphoto.wordpress.com/blog/

    You can simply add this as a custom link to your menu :)

    From your “My site(s)” dashboard, click “Customize” next to “Themes”, click on “Menus”, choose your main menu (or any other), click “add items”, “Custom links” and post your link there. Then give this menu item a name of your choice and click “Save and publish” :)
