Locating wp-config in root directory?
-
I’m having some real trouble with getting my own directory up and running, after some messaging back and forth with godaddy support they told me i need to update my connection strings in my wp-config root directory.
I have all my files uploaded to my server on filezilla but i can’t find my wp-config.php file and I’m new to web design and I don’t know what a root directory is?
Is it my new server? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but that blog is not a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM so we cannot help you with it. WordPress.COM blogs and wordpress.org installs operate on different code. The correct support forum to get support for that blog is here > http://wordpress.ORG/support

Sorry, you need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.
These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.
If you are not familiar with the differences, see this support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .
