lockdown emails too many failed attempts

    I keep getting emails saying I have been locked out .A lockdown event has occurred due to too many failed login attempts or invalid username:
    Username: c_teniz
    IP Address: 167.71.198.17

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    For what site is this?

    Right now you’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and you don’t have any websites hosted on our servers under this account, nor is c_teniz a valid WordPress.com username, so those emails aren’t coming from us.

    If this is for a site using the open source version of WordPress at another host, please contact your hosting provider directly, as this is most likely a security measure implemented from their end.

    General support for that version of WordPress is provided by the WordPress.org community who makes that software in their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
