  I cannot log into my account due to two step verification. How can I turn off two step verification? I moved country so the authentication codes, unfortunately, go to an old number.

  Hi unravellingself,

  What is the username of the account of address of the site you are unable to login to?

  Do you have access to the backup codes that were generated when two step authentication was enabled? One of those can be used in place of an SMS or authenticator code when logging in.

  Just let me know and we can go from there.

  Hi Gemma,

  Sadly I don’t have the codes in place of the authentication app.

  As I’m in a new country with a new phone, I’m completely locked out so two step has to be disabled. Can WordPress Admin help in relation to this as I haven’t found a solution.

  My site is unravellingself.wordpress.com. It is private while I was working on content and redesign.
