Locked blog entry

If someone calls up my blog, they don’t get the most current entry, they get one that has somehow been locked. How can I change this?

Hi there – Could you let us know the title of the latest entry you expect others to be able to find when they visit your site? We’ll take a look and see how we can help. :)
Based on what you describe, it kind of sounds like you have a post at the top that is a “Sticky” post. Here’s more about what that is and how to edit that: https://wordpress.com/support/post-and-page-visibility/#sticky-posts-posts-only

The latest is Fleur-de-Lodi. I’d like the most recent one to show up. Can someone other than me make a post “sticky”?

Only if you have another registered user on your site with the right permissions to edit and publish posts.
Since you’re the only registered user on your site, it would not be possible.
To make your most recent post show up in your blog, you need to remove the “sticky” status from the post
Fleur-de-Marcella.Edit that post and in the Post screen uncheck the “stick to the top of the blog” and click “update” to update the post. Screenshot of that screen
That should take care of it! Let us know if you still have trouble.

It worked! Thank you. That has been a puzzle for me for years. I’m not sure how I originally made it sticky, but it way by mistake.
