  I need help.

  I recently bought a redirect for my old wordpress.com account

  I’ve been able to log into the backend until today.

  site is http://www.mynotetakingnerd.wordpress.com

  I can’t log in. I know the passwords are correct and it will not even recognize my username?

  Please help as I need to get in.

  I even tried posting at the forums and they locked me out of there..

  What is going on?

  Just to double check, are you logging in using your current, independent blog username or your WordPress.com username? And what happens when you hit “Forgot my password?”

  I’m using my wordpress.com username

  I hit it and it doesn’t recognize anything I put in and I’m 100% sure they are correct.

  I’ve tried every user we had inside the blog before which was just three…

  http://www.mynotetakingnerd.com/blog/ is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can’t help with.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

  WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress via their Codex and Support Forums.

  If you mean that you need the Dashboard for the redirected mynotetakingnerd.wordpress.com blog, you can still access that via https://mynotetakingnerd.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ but you need to be logged in as the user who owns that blog, which is not currently chiefmynotetakingnerd.

  I’ve tried everything

  The users we had were

  Chief MyNoteTakingNerd
  mynotetakingnerd
  lnyol

  I think it was mynotetakingnerd

  problem is that when i try to do a password reset I don’t get the email and the email should have been (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  can you please let me know what I’m doing wrong?

  The only user on that blog is mynotetakingnerd.

  The email address was changed from what you quoted above. Unfortunately, we cannot offer hints as to what it was changed to.

  Alright I figured this out.

  My dumbass partner (excuse language) changed the email and didn’t tell me.

  I just changed the email address.

  I’m assuming I need to log in as that user and then ask the original questions I had?

  this is so frustrating..

  Yet anytime I try to make a post to support is says this thread is locked.

  What is going on?

  Hm, that’s odd. Are you trying to reply here, specifically https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/locked-out-4 ?

  Either way, if you were able to log in as mynotetakingnerd, it sounds like the issue is closed, since you should be able to access https://mynotetakingnerd.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ without issue.

  I’m logged in here as (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  My username on this post is chiefmynotetakingnerd

  However,

  I need help with my blog issues.

  When I log into as mynotetakingnerd I get locked out by admin every single time I try and make a post.

  Why? I need help …please help me…this is getting ridiculous

  Do you mean that you make a post on your blog, or you try to reply to the thread here?

  Can you take a screenshot of the error and upload it to your blog’s Dashboard via Media -> Add New?
