  Hello, I need help I think I locked myself out of my WordPress admin account

  @kokkieh I have the same problem and am unable to recover my account using the Account Recovery Form as I do not recall receiving any of the “Proof of Ownership” information.

  Feel free to add a “made up” transaction ID, and that will allow you to proceed and send the form.

  staff-totoro Thanks for the tip. I tried that a few times but received the error message “The receipt does not appear to be valid.” Should the transaction ID follow a specific format, or do you have a “dummy” transaction ID that works?

  @jawjennifer, it’s possible the form now validates the code before you even submit it, in which case a dummy record won’t work.

  What is the URL of the site you’re trying to access?
