Locked out by our website developer

We’re locked out of our website by our website developer who has been fired.
We’ve made the website get a critical error and then it became apparant that he still had the admin access needed to restore the site and reverse the updates we’ve put through.
Can we in any way get this back?WP.com: Unknown
