locked out! HELP

I need your help.I changed emil, fine, got that sent through to my computer, but computer forgot password, so im locked out of wordpress! I’ve tried contacting them, but they are not in existence.

Have you seen this support documentation entry? Visit the Lost Password page. Type your WordPress.com username or e-mail into the text box and click the Get New Password button. A page will load with a message to Check your e-mail for the confirmation link. Be sure to check your email spam filter. When the email is received click the link in it and create a new password. -

Bad news. WordPress.com says your blogs belong to the email address:
Don’t depend on support@wordpress.com to resolve this for you quickly. They will have no way of establishing if you are an impostor or the real Anna. (We both know that, but their job is to protect their users.)
Your best bet is to recover the email address. Thats the easiest, fastest way to get it all back together.
So, next question for you to answer:
What is the domain (eg gmail.com, ihug.co.nz) of the email address which these blogs belong to?

hi buddy x, you sure are being great with the help… does sound bad though. ihug is the domain. Im sure I can autheticate myself somehow. argh! i dont think i can get annaku*****@ihug back again?

p.p.s I did request a change of email address, so in my inbox there is a ‘thankyou for changing your email’ email in my account, so it has been changed, just not yet activated.

1. You have the change of email req from WordPress? Does it say this?
You recently requested to have the email address on your account changed.
If this is correct, please click on the following link to change it:If so, what happens when you click on the link in the email?
2. If you haven’t changed your email yet, you should be able to get annaku*****@ihug.co.nz back somehow.
You might need to re-open an account with them to do so … I’ve posted in Vodafone’s forum here asking what options there are:

I’ve had quite good dealings with the Vodafone NZ team on Twitter – ask them direct @vodafoneNZ and they should sort you out.

hi again, yes to number 1. And I couldn’t activate it because i wasn’t logged in, although i did actually try activating it several times when i was logged in and it just couldn’t do it.
I think that part was a glitch. so yeah. I will follow through to the darth voda and see what they say. cheer yo. x -

FARK nut! ok, so guess whats happened now? I created an account to use this faciltiy and this time when i went to reclaim my password (ok i forgot it again!!) it sent it back to this temporary account, so though I have correct email address activated I can only access one account. does that make sense? im going snooping, starting by killing this account… gosh!

Sounds like you want to reset the password for lolaorlando and not anneliese888. You will need to make sure you’re logged out from your anneliese888 account, and that you request a password reset for the email associated with your lolaorlando account (not your anneliese888 account).
