locked out no recovery email

  I was updating a page on my wordpress website when my new laptop crashed and said it had to restart. when I tried to get back in and redo my work i got the word fence message that i am temporarily locked out. I filled out the request for an email to rectify the issue, but have never received an email.

  Hi @sacredha,

  Your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress.

  These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only :) https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Contact Wordfence directly through there support forums at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordfence/ .

  You can also disable WordFence plugin if you have access to your hosting, go to your root installation folder and then to /wp-content/plugins/ now rename WordFence folder.
