Locked out of account

  I recently changed my password- or so I thought- but appears I didn’t update my profile settings and now my password is lost. I followed procedure for recovery BUT WP doesn’t recognise my user name, and my email address is associated with another WP site that I was working on a while ago.
  So to summarise, WP sends me the reset password link but it’s for the wrong site. When I use the link with the user name for the site I want, it doesn’t recognise it. Is there a WP email address I can contact to get this situation resolved?

  To add to the above, the site I wish to recover the password for is imgeospatial.com and NOT imgeospatial.wordpress.com

  Hello again,

  It appears that the domain name imgeospatial.com is not currently pointed to a WordPress.com site. Since the staff here are mostly only able to help with login issues relating to WordPress.com-hosted sites, you might try asking the host of the current imgeospatial.com site for help getting back into the WordPress.org install there.

  There are several options listed there — just choose the one that seems to fit you best. If you need more help, again, your host might be able to help you, or you can find it at wordpress.org/support.
