Locked Out of Account
-
Hi There,
A student that I am working with created a blog (supergardener.net). His computer crashed and that was where he had his log-in information saved. He says that he cannot get back into the account because he did not set-up password recovery, and he doesn’t know what email was used to sign up. Is there another way to get access to this blog? -
You’re posting in the support forum for free sites hosted at WordPress.com. That site is hosted by BlueHost. He could reach out to them or register an account at the correct support forum

PS:and that was where he had his log-in information saved
Bad idea. You can’t beat writing things down. We all have dozens of very important passwords these days such as banking etc.

It is a free word press account- he just changed the URL. And he is only 12 years old, so he is still learning the hard way about saving passwords. I am just hoping that we can get back into his account.

So you’re not talking about supergardener.net ? That doesn’t look like a 12 year olds site.
Domain:supergardener.net
Registrar:FastDomain Inc.
Name Servers:
ns1.bluehost.com
ns2.bluehost.comWhat is the address of the WordPress.com site?
-
Yes. I am talking about supergardener.net, and it is a site created by a 12 year old named Max. I am his homeschool teacher. He wrote all of the content through his free wordpress site- even though it is hosted by bluehost.

I’ll point you again to these links if the site is hosted over at BlueHost.

PS: Here at WordPress.com you need to be 13 years or older to have an account. Any younger and there needs to be parental permission given to TOS staff. -
I can’t tell if you are really trying to be helpful, but thanks for your time anyways. I have all of the parental permissions.
