  I used a reset plugin to start over – now cannot log into my site even after trying to reset password

  If the site is using managed hosting from WordPress.com then you can try the account recovery by following the support guide at the link down below:

  If you are trying to access a WordPress install that’s connected to WordPress.com via jetpack, you need to use your WordPress site credentials before you can access WordPress admin.

  If you are having trouble with those, you’ll want to contact your hosting company or ask in the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums
