I locked myself out and need to get in to activate a recently purchased plugin

Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your @jaguarpretzeltelesto97558 WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login? Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

Hi,
So, jaguarpretzeltelesto97558 is not a website — it was a username (incorrect – I have a different username that I logged in with successfully) associated with my email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). When I was initially locked out for using an autocorrected username, this jaguar… showed up as the user name for my email. After a number of hours, I was able to login correctly to WordPress (turningpointsconsulting.com) with my correct username and password. What I now don’t understand is how that jaguar… was listed as the username for my email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). You can this forum question was posted under the jaguar… username — which is not me.
Very strange. Thanks for any help.

Hi Dori:
It sounds like there are two different user accounts at play here:
1. Your WordPress.com account (username
jaguarpretzeltelesto97558) that you used to post to this forum.
2. The account for your WordPress installation atturningpointsconsulting.com.The account you would use on WordPress.com is an entirely different account than the one you would use to log into and manage your website, so it’s very likely that both accounts share the same email address. As far as the username is concerned, you might have had it randomly generated when you created the WordPress.com account a few weeks ago.
Since it sounds like you were finally able to log back in, we’ll mark this resolved.
Cheers!
