Locked out of account/account closed but still being charged

Hi,
I went on WordPress last month and tried to log into an account that I hadn’t accessed in a long time so that I could cancel the subscription (I either have a business or an e-commerce account but I don’t remember which). It said that my account was closed.
So I went through the process of trying to reclaim it so that I could get in and cancel the subscription but it didn’t work because I didn’t have the documentation required to re-access it/prove it’s mine. I was recently charged $415.80 canadian dollars in the midst of trying to access the account and cancel the subscription and I would like my credit card to be reimbursed and the subscription cancelled.

Hey there, I can confirm the account associated with that site is not closed.
There are two ways you can get this sorted:- You can use this form and process, along with the transaction ID from the recent charge, to recover the account. Don’t share the transaction ID here, but do use the recovery form mentioned in that article
- You could also use the form at wpchrg.com to look up the charge and ask about it specifically. But I would recommend regaining access to the account instead, since it has an active domain and whatnot. You’ll want to gain access so you can determine what to do with it.
