locked out of account & therefore cannot transfer my domain
-
in late december I transferred my domain from wix to wordpress, and then right after doing this I realized I wanted to transfer it to a different web service after all. I knew I had to wait 60 days before doing so, so I planned to revisit the issue in late february. I guess I must have missed the chance to verify my contact info to wordpress after registering my domain, because wordpress locked me out of the account the domain was attached to. when I tried to log into my account in february to unlock my domain and initiate my transfer, it said my login credentials didn’t exist. when I tried to recover my account, I could not because I don’t have “proof” of ownership (the account type I had was free and I had already paid for my domain when I transferred it). when I try to add my domain to a new wordpress account I made, it says it is already in use by another wordpress site (the same wordpress site it says doesn’t exist when I try to log in). I am so frustrated, and I just want access to my domain so I can unlock it and transfer it to where it needs to be. i filed a report with icann to get assistance on this and i haven’t heard back yet, and forums are the only wordpress-affiliated support i have access to because i only use the free version. thank you in advance.

Hi there,
I do not see any upgrades under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/
Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login?
I can confirm that greykenna.com is registered at WordPress.com but is under a different account and not your @greynotthecolor login. If you do not recall how to log in to your other account you can fill out the form here to get assistance from our Account Recovery team: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recoveryOn that form you will be asked to provide a transaction ID for your purchase, which you can typically find on your credit card statement. More info on how to find that here: https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-id
Once you are connected to the correct account we are happy to help you with managing your account. Thanks!

Hi there,
I followed this advice and tried to recover my account again with a transaction ID I found on my bank statement, but it told me it was invalid. I tried multiple different combinations of info. Can you tell me which login http://www.greykenna.com is registered to so that I can recover the info I need to gain access to it and transfer my domain? My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff) – thank you in advance.
Best,
