locked out of blog

I have obviously done something wrong at some stage. I have a blog called thebartrams.wordpress.com. At some stage it has got linked to a blog called chrisandval.wordpress.com, which I no longer use and deleted. I can visit ‘thebartrams’ and all the pages etc. as a guest, but cannot log in and get to the dashboard because the ‘passwords or user name ‘are wrong. I have requested a new password, but that doesn’t work either. if I click on ‘write’ top right, it tells me I don’t have any sites. If I click on ‘My Site’ top left, it shows that I’m signed in to ‘chrisandval @boris210’ but still no way to get to the dashboard. Getting a new password using my (only) email address just throws up the failure box,(see above). How can I resolve this and get access to my blog?

    Hii @boris210,
It looks like you have two different WordPress.com accounts associated with these two blogs.

The account that you’re currently logged into is boris210 and owned the blog chrisandval.wordpress.com, which has been deleted by you.

The site thebartrams.wordpress.com is owned by a different account, so you can not access it while logged into this account. To access this blog, you’ll need to log out of your current WordPress.com account and log in using your other username.

But as you don’t remember the user name and password for thebartrams account, please read and follow the instructions given in the below link.
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form.

    Hope this resolves your issue.

    Thank you 🙂

This is what is happening to me, however, I am signed in and do not have two accounts.
I wrote a post and the page won’t save it, only says “loading” since last night. When I click on “sites” it says I don’t have one.

    HELP??

    Hi boris210,

thebartrams.wordpress.com and chrisandval.wordpress.com are owned by two different accounts.

chrisandval.wordpress.com was owned by the account you are logged in to (boris210) but has been deleted.

    thebartrams.wordpress.com is owned by chrisgfb

Please log out of your boris210 account and clear you browser cache and cookies:

Then reset the password for your chrisgfb account and try logging in again.

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks to iamrishaan for his help. Gemma, I’m sorry this did not work. I followed instructions and then requested a new password for chrisgfb, and received an email, but the link said that the request had come from boris210, so changing the password just gets me into wordpress which helps me ask for help, but does not help me edit thebartrams. I am as certain as I can be that the email I used for thebartrams is the same one I used for chrisandval, and the only one I have used for quite a few years, but even so maybe there is a problem there. One can’t have more than one blog using the same email? Can you confirm that the email you used is the one registered to thebartrams? (I’m assuming you can confirm it or otherwise without naming it). I have just tried logging into thebartrams using boris210 password. No luck!

    Hi boris210,

One can’t have more than one blog using the same email?

That’s correct. Each user account needs to have a unique email address, which means two accounts cannot use the same address.

I’m assuming you can confirm it or otherwise without naming it

For security reasons I’m not able to give you any suggestions as to what the email address; it is a separate account from the one you are currently logged in to. If you are unable to reset the password please fill out our Account Recovery form:

    Recover Your Account

Once you’ve done so, we will be in touch about your account.

Let me know how you get on.
