Locked Out of Comments Despite checking box

  I have recently posted a blog at http://blogthefarm.wordpress.com

  The comments are CLOSED despite me clearly checking the following boxes

  Allow comments.
  Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page.

  When I “Update” The post the boxes revert back to being unchecked. Can someone please advise?
