Locked out of my account

I am locked out of my account and don’t have any of the information including URL to get access back in!! It’s for my university, so it is essential it is with the university email I used originally. I have checked my emails and didn’t receive any of the bits you need when creating an account to restore it. Not sure what to do. Can someone help? I can’t find any way of contacting wordpress.

Hello @francescaholland, if you created your website on WordPress.com and remember the URL of your website, You can try to log back in by writing “yourwebsitelink/wp-admin” in your browser. By doing so, you should be able to enter your dashboard if you’re still logged in, or alternatively, you should see the WordPress login page. If you do not remember the password, use the “Forgot your password?” button.

No, I don’t remember the URL which is causing me issues. When I try to log into my account its takes me to the recovery page but I don’t have any of the details to recover it.

Hello again! So, if you’re writing with the same account associated with your WordPress website, you’re likely to have access to the information.

Just try to recover your WordPress account using the same email you’re using to write here (unless your website was created using a different account than the one which you’re using to write on the forum).
Once you’re logged in, you can see in your dashboard all your websites.
If you still can not enter, you may try to fill out the Account Recovery Form.
But in his form, you need to provide the website link.. soo… it’s a tricky situation for sure because you really need to know at least the address…
You may try to remember the website’s URL (the website address, the link), by looking at your browser history (If you’re on chrome, press CTRL+H to open the history). Try to remember when you could have browsed your website, and navigate to that day.

No, I’m writing off of my personal account and I need to access the one through university. When I try to reset the password it says the account doesn’t exist and when I try to create a new account it says I can’t because the account has been deleted. I’ve gone through my university emails and have none of the information that is needed to reactivate my account so stuck in a hard place.
