Locked out of my account

  I am the owner of this blog. HOWEVER, I am locked out of my account and I cannot get back into it. My computer (a Google Chromebook) updated today and it erased all my saved passwords, etc. so I cannot access my blog. When I input my email address, it sends me a link which takes me to an old account I never did figure out how to deactivate and not my current account. HELP!

  Hi!

  If you do not have access to the email inbox associated with your WordPress.com account, I am afraid you have no choice but to use the account recovery option as outlined on this guide.

  Please note that you will have to produce the proof of ownership as mentioned on that page to regain access to your WordPress.com account.

  I don’t KNOW which email was attached to the blog. According to the gravatar associated with the blog, it was my main email address.

  HOWEVER when I tried to send a lost password reset email, I didn’t get one. I tried MULTIPLE times to send it and it never showed up. I checked my spam/junk folder as well and nothing.

  Unfortunately, I don’t have any of the proofs of ownership that are asked for on that page. I don’t know what else to do to prove it is MY blog however.

  Hi there,

  I can tell you the username that owns that site is mommatrek, but for security reasons I cannot tell you the connected email account. If you’re not getting the password reset emails, and they’re not in Spam or some other filter (like the Social and Updates folders Gmail uses), your only other option is the account recovery form.

  If you can’t verify your ownership via that form, we won’t be able to give you access to the site.
