Locked out of my account, email isn’t sending
-
Hello everyone,
I have been locked out of my WordPress.com account. I recently signed up and never received a verification email.
Now I’ve been logged out of my account, and I’m not being sent any email to sign back in. Emails to reset the passwords don’t arrive either.
The email address works fine, I’m able to get emails from anywhere. It’s only WordPress.com emails that don’t arrive.
I just created an account with another email address and it worked, but I need the other account back. Here’s the email I signed up with: hello [at] animalia . science
How can I get back in? I was never even able to set a password!
Thank you to anyone who can help :)

Hi there!
It looks like the problem is with your mail hosting. When trying to send the verification email, we get this reply from your email server:
550-The mail server could not deliver mail to (email visible only to moderators and staff). The 550-account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the 550 proper dns entries. You’ll need to contact them to see why your email isn’t working. Once they sort that out, you should be able to request the verification again.
I hope that clarifies things!

Thanks for the reply.
I checked with my web host and they couldn’t find any problems with the configuration. They were able to send/receive emails from the account.
However I looked up 550 error and the solution was to set the email routing to the local exchange server. I did this and was able to receive a single email from wordpress.com.
I signed in and set up my password so I can get into my account again. But new emails are still not arriving.
