Locked out of my home screen after password protecting it

  Hello please can you help me to get my home screen back? I password protected it but when I put the password in it doesn’t work. I dont know if I have accidentaly typed in the orginal password in wrong so now don’t know what it is.

  Are you able to confirm the site and the name of the page you require assistance with please?

  You should be able to reset the password of a protected page by changing its visibility, as detailed here: https://wordpress.com/support/post-and-page-visibility/#changing-visibility
