Locked out of my paid plan -refund request

Hi,
I had a paid plan on WordPress.com and a domain purchased elsewhere.
The plan was 2FA-tied to the email, which expired (together with the domain) a couple of weeks prior to the wordpress.com plan.
We don’t have access to the email anymore, so we cannot access the wordpress.com plan.
Unfortunately we were billed a new year but we don’t need it and we cannot cancel and ask for a refund.
I sent an email to help@wordpress.com and never heard back.
