Locked out of my primary WordPress account
-
Hi. I’m locked out of my primary accounts. It is under a separate email, which I do not have access to. I never changed my password, but it is saying the one I am typing is incorrect. It is a free account. Not sure what to do, but I’m freaking out! The other account has my personal blogs and my professional portfolio! SOS.

hi,
Can you tell us your site url ?
Here is the support document on how to make the best use of this forum:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/best-practices-community-standards/For account recovery, please fill out the account recovery form (https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery) and the staff will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
Here is the support page for more information on recovering your account:
If you don’t have access to the email address associated with the account, in order to regain access to it, we’ll need one of the following things:
* A transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/
* The WordPress.com account activation link, which we sent to your email address when you first registered with us. If the email you received included a confirmation button instead of a link, you can copy the activation URL by right-clicking on the button and selecting “Copy Link Address” (this text may slightly vary, depending on your browser).
Here’s additional information to retrieve the transaction ID if you don’t have the email receipt:

Hi there,
Can you please give the username of the other account, or the address of the site you’re trying to access so we can take a look? We cannot accurately advise you without that info.

The only way to recover the account is through the Account Recovery form. We aren’t going to be able to help you any further with that in the public forums.
