Locked out of my site

    Hello, I am trying to recover my password but when I ask the site to send a new password to the email I used to set up the account, it says the email is not valid.

    When I use just the username it goes through but I see no email arrive in my accounts I checked spam too). It would be very helpful to know which email account the recovery email is being sent to.

    I just reset the password a few weeks ago and wrote down the new password in records so I’m very stumped as to why its not working now.

    Please help me find a way to prove ownership and get me back into my site because I need it for work.

    I can’t prove ownership with the requirements on the account recovery form but
    I have dozens of emails from wordpress that should be sufficient evidence to prove it’s my site. Also the site is about me professionally so there’s that as well.

    Can someone from WordPress help?

    That is a WordPress.org site, not a WordPress.com site, and as it’s using a different version of WP software you’ll have to be in their forums for help with that. We can’t help you.
