Locked out of my WP Customizr website

    Hi!
    Getting this error on my site:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘http’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/p3nexnas05_data02/63/2125863/html/wp-content/themes/customizr-child/functions.php on line 11

    WordPress is also saying that jetpack (one of my installed plugins) is down…

    Hello!

    You have WordPress.ORG software. This is a WordPress.COM forum. WordPress suggests to get the best response users should post in the correct forum.

    Please make the exact same post in in the right forum.

    You will need to make an account for WordPress.ORG

    I’d also consider using a different theme while you wait to get an answer.

    PS: For your first issue it appears that in your functions.php file for your customizr-child theme on line 11 is missing a quote-mark ‘ or an end-parenthesis )

    Hi!

    Thank you, so much for your very kind and thorough reply!

    So I started my website at GoDaddy where it is considered a ‘Managed Site.’ So, I was never very clear if the site was on WP.org or WP.com.

    I appreciate you clarifying that.

    I will post the question on the WP.org forum.

    I really tried hard to follow the snippet that I found on Themes & Co., for the functions.php file. Wouldn’t you know that something as simple as a quote mark or an end-parenthesis completely locked me out!

    I thought that WP was supposed to be user-friendly for newbies like myself!

    Again, I appreciate you taking the time to explain things and write me back!
