locked out of old domain

  I had a past wordpress domain and i know longer know the email address that was used to create it. I need to use the domain for my new blog but it says that it is already taken. but it’s taken by me! and I don’t know how to get access into the account and cancel it. Please Help!!

  Without access to the the email, you might not be able to get the old account back.

  One suggestion that sometimes works is to ask people to just do their best to try to remember the password. Sometimes they can get it.

  If you can’t, then you should carefully follow the instructions at http://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  Thanks so much for your help! but without that old username i can’t get in. I’ve already filled out an account recovery form too! any other advice you have an i’ll take it!

  That’s all you can do. The account recovery form is the way to go.
