Locked Out of WordPRess account as my domain has expired

  My Domain hdp-it.com has expired and I can’t login to the wordpress panelas the email address I had associated it was using that domain. Please can you help?

  Hey there!

  Which host are you using? You might still be able to access phpMyAdmin through your hosting panel (cPanel, Plesk, etc.) Your hosting and your domain are usually separate, so your hosting account should still be accessible. Go to phpMyAdmin => wp_users table => find your user row => change the user_email field to an email address you currently have access to. Then optionally do a normal password reset from the WP login screen.

  Another option, if your host supports it, would be via WP-CLI! Just type the following command:
  wp user update 1 –user_email=(email visible only to moderators and staff)
