Locked Out of WordPress Accounts

Changes were made to my computer to try to prevent malware and intrusion. Now I cannot log into my WordPress.com websites as I did for so many years. WordPress makes it impossible to identify myself. I don’t have the numbers demanded for ‘verification.’ Why does WordPress make this impossible for someone as experienced as I am?

Your account spidermba doesn’t have a website or blog. What is the URL of your missing site?

I KNOW it isn’t under SpiderMBA. It may be under (email visible only to moderators and staff) but I can’t log into that email. Hotmail.com says it does not exist. WordPress.com said they sent a link to that email to change my password. this is insane. When I try to create (email visible only to moderators and staff) it says “We sent a link to (email visible only to moderators and staff) (for you to create that email address???)”
It’s like talking to a computer.
WordPress.com has no provision for changing things when they go amiss. They have this fetish about “verification” under one of three impossible options.
I CAN’T VERIFY any of those! ! ! ! ! -
Wordpress.com has a very strict policy regarding account recovery to prevent the wrong people claiming an account.
