Locked out of wp-admin page on new website
-
Got my new domain from a hosting service and then tried to log in using the wp-admin suffix. However it wouldn’t accept my WordPress password. After a few attempts I was locked out. Message reads: The access to that page has been restricted by the administrator of this website. You don’t have access to this page. Please contact the administrator of this website for further assistance.
Please help! Thanks

Hello there,
It appears your site is hosted at Siteground rather than WordPress.com. I recommend contacting their support since we wouldn’t have access to it.
Siteground support:
https://www.siteground.com/supportTroubleshooting login issues:
https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/troubleshoot-login-issues/While your site may be built on WordPress technology, that is separate from WordPress.com hosting. We specifically support sites built with WordPress technology hosted on WordPress.com.
Differences between WPCOM and WPORG
https://wordpress.com/go/website-building/wordpress-com-vs-wordpress-org/At WordPress.com, we have ways to simplify logins for WordPress sites and you can get chat support to take care of issues like this quickly.

Move to WordPress.com:
