Locking Themes?
-
Maybe a blonde request, lol, but is there an option to *lock* your theme? I’ve had it happen several times already, that I accidentally pressed ‘Activate’ (where usually the ‘Live Demo’ button is) when browsing the themes.
Upon having activated a new theme, most of your layout settings will be gone upon return.
Which, in the larger scheme of things, brings up the matter of backups (a functionality which seems absent, near as I can tell).
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry but the answer is no. I think every blogger needs a test blog. Scroll down to that heading here http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/05/19/how-to-select-a-wordpress-com-theme-part-1/

The staff backs up your blog for you – there are 3 very large server farms in different locations that mirror each other to keep your data safe.
On the downside – there is no “revert to the old theme” as @TT has noted above – a test and practice blog is much safer and way less stress

Kinda makes you wonder whether one can use ‘Export’, and then use ‘Import’ on the same blog, should one monumentallly mess up!? That may not be a direct ‘Revert’ button, but it might just do the trick. :) (not gonna try this until I have a shadow blog set up, of course)
