Lodestar – empty blog page for homepage – hide blank space?
-
Hi all, the Lodestar theme is just great; I’ve used it to create a static homepage as you can see: https://carolyntaraoneil.com
Because the Home page is just a regular Page, it creates blank white space where the text should go, under the picture. Is there any way to hide that white space? I don’t have CSS but would buy it if it would work; the white space is so annoying!
I’d like it to just be Menu-Header pic-Wordpress black bar at the bottom. Nothing else on the homepage. Is that possible?
Thanks for your help!

Hi there,
The only way to hide that would be by using custom CSS, yes, and you’d need the Premium or Business Plan for that.
But the other option is to set a custom background for your site that matches the color of the site footer. Then it will effectively show one wide dark bar below the image, rather than a white bar with a dark bar beneath. Just keep in mind this will change the background for the other pages on your site as well.
