Lodestar: increasing paragraph font size
-
Howdy,
I would like to slightly increase the font size on paragraph tags in the .entry-content class (I think) of my posts without affecting other paragraph tags.
All help appreciated. :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi justjennifer,
You need to add custom CSS in your site.
Custom CSS is a feature of the WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business plans.You can add custom CSS to your WordPress.com blog using the CSS Editor in My Sites → Customize → CSS in your blog dashboard.
You can write this CSS to increase the font-size.
.entry-content p {
font-size: 20px;
}
Just change the font-size to your liking.Thanks

Hi justjennifer,
This CSS should do what you are looking for:
.entry-content p { font-size: 1.1em; }This increases the size of paragraph tags within the post content — not entry meta like dates, authors and categories or any other elements on the page.
Let me know if it needs tweaking at all.

Thanks all. :)
@gemmacevans, I added that to the Customizer earlier and didn’t see any change in the font size so probably I left out something in the expression. Will try again and let you know.
@yashita – from one volunteer to another, adding links to relevant support guides is really helpful to others too. :) Thanks! -
Ah-Just noting that the last curly bracket in @gemmacevans’ reply should be a right one. :)

Sure, I can take another look if you are still aren’t seeing any changes after trying again :)

Well spotted, sorry about that! I’ve just amended it in my reply so it doesn’t confused anyone else.

In the end I went with 1.05em which was just enough to get the job done without mucking up the lovely line-spacing.
Thank you both for the quick replies. :)
