Lodestar – page background

  I am having difficulty changing the page background for the theme. Any suggestions?

  Also looking for insight into why the logo isn’t showing up properly as displayed in the customizer.

  It looks like creating a child theme was a problem for the page background. Activating the Lodestar theme without using a child corrected the issue.

  Is it still best practice to use a child theme with WordPress?
