  Hi there,

  Is there a way to disable comments on images that are displayed in Portfolio? Our site is still under construction, but we’re close to going public.

  Hi there,

  There is, via the WP-Admin dashboard:

  https://hammerheadsracing.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php

  You’ll need to edit each image in turn to disable comments – there is no bulk edit option.

  On one of my sites where I primarily post images I have the default comment option at My Site ->Settings ->Discussion set to have comments disabled, and I enable them manually post by post. This way they’re automatically disabled on images as well, so you might want to consider doing the same if you’ll be uploading many images going forward.
