Lodestar Premium and CSS Customization

    Hello,

    I am a complete beginner to WordPress and CSS customization. I have found a number of topics on this forum that give some answers to my questions, but they have not worked for me. So I’m going to start a new on this post, sorry in advance for any redundancies. Below are some questions I have on customizing my site that I’m hoping you all can help me with. Thank you in advance!

    Q: On the Work page, is there someone using this theme or another to embed the video directly into the page? I’m interested in having it play right within this page as opposed to loading a new page that someone needs to click the embedded video in order to watch again. I also can host the video on Vimeo or another outside site. I am also open to changing to another theme if there is one I can do this with. My work is all video, so sharing it as quickly and easily as possible is my hope.

    Q: On any of my sub-pages (anything but the Front Page), I would like to lose the front page panel image/title. How can I remove this?

    NOTE: I’ve tried added the below code into the Customizing CSS field and it has not worked for me:

    .custom-header-image::before {
    background: rgba(0,0,0,0) !important;
    }

    Q: On the Work page, is there someone to make the entire image and not just the text the hyperlink to the following page?

    Q: On the Top Custom Menu, how can I make the background color along the bar the same color as the background? I’d like this bar to appear seamlessly. I also prefer the dark background color of either black or a dark grey.

    Q: On the Press page, how can I remove the white box that outline the logos and how can I center these items on this page?
