Lodestar Theme on WordPress.Org

    I love the new WordPress.com theme, Lodestar. I would like to use it on my self-hosted WordPress.org site (but it’s not available on WordPress.org). I’ve downloaded the theme to my computer, but can’t figure out how to set it up on the self-hosted site. Would someone please point me in the direction of a good tutorial or give me some quick instructions?

    Hi there,

    To install that theme on your self-hosted site, log into the WP-Admin dashboard and click on Appearance ->Themes. There should be an Add New button that will allow you to upload a downloaded theme.

    If you have Jetpack installed on your self-hosted site and connected to your WordPress.com account, you should also be able to select the theme by going to My Site ->Themes in the WordPress.com interface.
