Lodestar theme: remove grey filter
-
Hi! I’d like to have a clean white panel image for my homepage but no matter what I upload, there seems to be a grey filter over the image. How do I achieve a white background? My business logo looks best on white.
Many thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This should eliminate the black background:
body:not(.no-header-image) .custom-header-image::before, .lodestar-front-page .custom-header-image::before { background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 1); }I’d suggest re-uploading your logo as a transparent PNG.
Let me know how it goes.

Sorry, one more question.
When I click on the individual pages, the 1st panel on the homepage appears and I have to scroll down for the content. Is there any way I can remove that panel from the other pages or to reduce the height?

Hello,
I’ve got my blog for a couple of months now and it goes pretty well.
I only have one problem which I can’t solve.
People who don’t have a wordpress account can sign up by email to recieve my latest posts. Is it possible to not show your entire post in the email but only a part, so my readers have to click and go to the site to finish reading the article?

You can reduce the size of the custom header on pages other than the homepage with this:
.custom-header-image { padding: 0; }Let me know how it goes.

I think this is only for the blog itself
I want to do this in the email people recieve.
Nevertheless thank you very much for your help! -
Bram – I am helping the original poster, essencecomms, with their Lodestar issue in this thread. You will receive help in your new thread once you create it, rather than this one, which has nothing to do with your email issue.

Awesome! I’ll mark this thread as resolved but feel free to start a new one if you need help with anything else.
