  every combination of user name …. lungtamtn …..mtn lungta and my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) will not work with my password reset

  Instead your host (Ethical Hosting) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. Specifically we use a custom login system on WordPress.com (for enhanced security) that also helps prevent this kind of lockout from occurring.

  The good news is that as long as you have access to the server control panel through Ethical Hosting, it is always possible to regain access to your self-hosted WordPress site.
