My company website uses WordPress but each time I select WP support, I’m asked to login and can only do so with my personal WP login. Shouldn’t I be able to get support with the account I’m already logged in as?
-
Hi, I don’t see any WordPress.com sites under your account here.
Would you please share the URL of the site you need help with?
Once we know that, we should be able to help or at least direct you to the folks who can.

I’d like help with tobedesigngroup.com which you won’t see linked here bc I can’t seem to get WP support through that login
-
My question is not about help with the site, however, it’s about being able to stay logged in to that site and get help without having to use my personal login.
-
Ah, that WordPress.org site hosted with Bluehost, which we can’t directly help with here.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
With that said, if you’d like to manage your WordPress.org site through WordPress.com, that is one of the features of the Jetpack plugin: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/ :)
Please let us know if you have any more questions!

Thanks for the clarification. However I still don’t understand—our server is Bluehost but our site is on WordPress.com not .org. What am I missing?
-
Hi there,
Your server is Bluehost which means that the site is a WordPress.org site hosted on Bluehost, not a WordPress.com site hosted on our servers here at WordPress.com. Therefore, Bluehost would be the best place to contact for support with any account issues regarding the site they have access to your account.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Ok thank you for clarifying. I always thought .org was only for nonprofit organizations.
