  hello, I know my user name and password and can log onto wordpress but the same password and username do not work for my websites dashboard.

  This forum is only for blogs/stes hosted by WordPress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
