Log-in front page

  Whenever I log into WordPress from my laptop, WordPress brings me to the reader – which I don’t really need nor use. I want to use the admin, which may not be fancy and colourful but it is useful and understandable. Is there some way to have the admin page as my home page when I log in?

  Just add “/wp-admin” at the end of your site’s address.

  For the blog that you mentioned in your post, that would be:
