On wednesday I transferred my domain to a separate hosting server and added an SSL certificate. The site layout was altered and I could not login to the site in order to fix anything. I made several attempts to access the site using the correct username and password and did not gain access. I transferred the domain back on thursday through the original servers and now the layout is the same but I am not allowed to login because of too many attempts. it has been 3 days. It said yesterday to try back in 3 hours and today it says try back in 16 hours and I have made no attempts in between. I need to access the site so I can make updates for a client. How can I login and skip the waiting period?

On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com and was only created yesterday.
If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.
