How do I get into my blog when changing to a new unrecognized computer?

Hi,
Have you tried going a step above, to wordpress.com, and logging in with the information you used when signing up? If you’ve forgotten that information, you can recover it, and once you’re logged in, you should have access to all the administrative features you’ve learned to use on your regular computer.

Yes, I have tried this. I went to WP official page. Then in the upper right corner, I click on log in. It goes to a new page like it is going to load, but the page never opens. Just a big blue W in the middle of the page. So there is no way to load my site. I tried going to in private browsing and it brought up the page to put in the password, but sent up all kinds of red flags telling me someone was trying to hack into my account. I am stuck with a log in page that won’t open!!

The folks at WP tell me to try a new platform. I have been using MS Edge for the past two years with no trouble at all. Don’t know why it would he hanging up now on a new computer.

All my computers have edge on them. I would have to download Chrome to check and see. I haven’t done that yet. I am resetting the new computer to see if there may have been a glitch one the original windows10.

Can you try updating Edge if applicable?

My son suggested that I reset my computer with a reboot of windows 10. When I went to word press and clicked log in the page come right up and I was able to get into my site.
Must have been some glitches in the original format.
Thank Goodness I am now able to use this computer. My old one is down to one GB and will no longer back up WP.
