Log In Screen no Longer There
-
I just inherited a client’s site http://www.globalyacht.us that the admin (original designer on the site) removed herself, and basically locked the client out of the site, even though she has a Webmaster log in & password. We can’t even get the Admin screen to come back now.
Is there any way to recover a log in to make the client the rightful admin? The website is acting funky too since that happened. Why is that?
I appreciate all the help you can provide. Thanks!

Hi @512studio,
The website globalyacht.us is not hosted with WordPress.com – as far as I can see the domain is pointed to the following name servers:
ns3.hostica.com
ns2.hostica.com
ns1.hostica.comIn this situation, your web hosting provider is the one that could help you – they will check the server logs and see exactly what happened and why the owner of the website can’t read the admin area anymore ( most likely because of a firewall block ).
Best wishes!

Ok, we’re trying to log into the hosting to see what’s up. That’s another headache, because they don’t know.
From what I understand the original admin deleted herself from he site, while the true owner was just a user.
I am still deciphering what went wrong…. I’m not a WP guru so I don’t know much… yet.
