I can’t log in to word press.org. I can’t view a link in my email to retrieve a password. I have even opened a new email account and it can’t be viewed.

In general, you’re going to login to your site on another host directly, you won’t login to WordPress.org for this. These pages are helpful to learn how to overcome login issues on WordPress powered sites not hosted at WordPress.com:
