Log in used says “site cannot be reached”

    I am taking over a website for my brother. I have helped him before years ago and was able to log in and change things.

    When I try to log in now I get the message “site cannot be reached”.

    I thought perhaps I had the wrong log in details so I tried to go in and reset password but I can’t get to that area

    I tried to reset password via help but I don’t have enough information to do that.

    I’m not even sure where the problem is so I don’t know where to look for help.

    What should my next steps should be?

    I was able to find an updated password that gets me on to our WordPress dashboard for the website.

    The home page is functional but we have pages that are giving us the same error message. I tried recreating the price list page for example to test if the data was corrupt but that didn’t solve the problem.

    I’m wondering if it is a hosting problem? Unfortunately we don’t remember how it was being hosted.

    I’d appreciate any help you can give me.

    Hi there,

    To add to staff-zara’s reply, your hosting provider is actually GoDaddy so you need to contact them regarding your issue.

    domaincontrol.com are the nameservers GoDaddy uses ;)
