Log in with unencrypted password
-
I’m trying to make it so my users’ passwords are unencrypted so they may receive their real password in an email if they forgot it. Trust me, I know it’s not secure, but it’s a client’s demand. So, I removed the function that encrypts the passwords and can confirm that they go into the database unencrypted, but when I try to log in it will not work.
I’m going to gather some more details… in the meantime, would anyone happen to know what would be causing the login to not work?
Thanks!
